# Output spec ## Size and format | Shape | Use | Pixels | |---|---|---| | Square 1:1 (default) | Amazon, Shopify, Etsy | 2000 x 2000 | | Portrait 4:5 | Instagram shop, campaigns | 2000 x 2500 | - One file per ratio. JPEG, quality 93, or PNG when asked. - Background pure white, RGB 255,255,255, edge to edge. ## Checks before you return it Run `node scripts/check-spec.mjs shot.jpg`. It must print PASS for the five required checks and a PASS or NOTE for the shadow: 1. Aspect is 1:1 or 4:5. 2. At least 2000 px on the long side. 3. A 10 px frame around the edge is pure white. 4. The product fills 80 to 92% of the frame. 5. The product does not touch the edge. Fill is measured from `shot.jpg.json` (the real product box). If that file is missing, the check estimates from pixels, which is unreliable for white products: judge fill by eye. Then look at the image yourself and confirm: 6. The product matches the photo: shape, colour, label, logo and text. Compare against the input. 7. The edge is clean, with no halo or missing parts. 8. The shadow is soft and sits under the product. It does not look pasted on. 9. No added props, text, watermarks or logos. If 6 or 7 fails, do not return the shot as finished. Fix the source photo or say clearly what is wrong.
