# Beta terms.

These terms apply to the Meleon website at meleon.ai and to the beta waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

## The beta

Meleon is in beta. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, a particular date or a particular feature. Features, availability and any future pricing may change before or after launch. We will say so plainly if the beta stops being free.

## Your account details

Give us a real name and an email address you control. If you sign in with Google, you confirm the Google account is yours.

## Acceptable use

Do not use the site or Meleon to break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, create abusive, deceptive or harmful content, probe or attack our systems, or spam the signup form. Only submit material you have the right to use. We may remove entries and limit access if these rules are broken.

## Content and ownership

The Meleon name, mascot, site design and copy belong to us. You keep ownership of anything you create or submit yourself. You give us permission to process what you submit only as needed to run the service you asked for.

## Third-party services

Meleon works alongside AI chats such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, which are run by other companies under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or output.

## No warranty

The site and the beta are provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

## Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the beta, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which for the free beta is zero. Nothing here limits rights you cannot lawfully give up.

## Ending things

You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end access to the site or the beta at any time, including to protect it from misuse.

## Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
